Bazella (green peas)

Bazella is a very simple and easy green pea recipe, it is cooked with cut carrot and ground beef in tomato sauce , served with the basic Lebanese rice.

Prep time 20 min  cook time 35 min  Level easy

Ingredient

  • frozen bag of green pea and carrot
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp seven spices
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cups of water

Direction

  1. In a pot add the oil , when oil is hot add the onion stir for a couple minutes then add the beef and season it with the seven spices , black pepper, cinnamon and salt . keep on stiring until the meat cooked well .
  2. Add the peas and carrot stir for 2 minutes then add tomato sauce and water little bit of salt , cover and let it simmer for 30 to 40 min.
